Together, the Senior Leadership Team is responsible for the day-to-day running of Meath Green Infant School.  The progress of each and every child matters to us, regardless of academic ability. What unites us as a Senior Leadership Team is our belief that with the right support and a positive learning environment, all children can make excellent progress.

Each member of the Senior Leadership Team has a specific role:

Mrs Helen Powell - Headteacher

• Overall responsibility for the school, its staff, its pupils and the quality of education they receive
• Designated Safeguarding Lead
• Responsible for the school's provision for children eligible for Pupil Premium

Mrs Nicola Edwards – Assistant Headteacher (Curriculum)

• Responsible for the development of the curriculum
• Responsible for the running of the school in the absence of the headteacher
• Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead

Mrs Kelly Lang – Assistant Headteacher (SEND)

• Responsible for the school’s provision for children with special education needs and children requiring additional support
• Responsible for the running of the school in the absence of the headteacher

Ms Clair Penny - School Business Manager 

• Responsible for the back office functions within school.  This includes the school office, the school site, admissions, compliance and health and safety
