At Meath Green Infant School, we aim to deliver a history curriculum that is accessible and encourages all children to be curious about their own past and the past of those around them. Children will gain a secure subject knowledge through the direct teaching of history in lessons and wherever possible, real-life experiences and enrichment activities will be used to deepen the context of the learning. Pupils will develop their historical skills throughout their time at Meath Green Infant School and will be able to make links between current and previous learning across the curriculum.
